Alexis Proudman

My name is Alexis Proudman, and I’m going into my sophomore year at Purdue majoring in Wildlife! I live right here in Indiana in a town called Crown Point, but I have lived in other states previously. Here at Purdue, I have had the opportunity to work with other undergraduate students doing research on birds, which included bird-banding and lots of early mornings. I decided to become a part of this REEU program, because I want to become a field researcher when I’m older and this is the perfect opportunity to get field experience. The thing that I’m looking forward to the most this summer is getting to participate in all aspects of a research project from beginning to end. There is just so much to learn and I hope I get to see a lot of cool animals.
